Our process

How we work: from first call to shipped and measured

No black boxes and no status decks. Four stages, weekly demos, and a written scope you approve before anything starts. Here is exactly what happens at each step and what we need from you.

The four stages

What actually happens, stage by stage

01

Discover

Typically 3 to 7 days

Before proposing anything, we work out what problem is actually worth solving. Most projects fail because the wrong thing was built well, not because the right thing was built badly.

What we do

  • A free 30-minute call to understand the goal and the constraints.
  • A look at what already exists: site, analytics, ad accounts, or codebase.
  • Competitor and search research where the project depends on visibility.
  • An honest read on what the budget and timeline can realistically achieve.

What we need from you

  • Access to relevant analytics or accounts, read-only is fine.
  • One person who can answer questions and make decisions.

You end up with: A written proposal with scope, timeline, and a fixed price. If we think the project is a bad idea, you will hear that instead.

02

Design

Typically 1 to 3 weeks

Structure gets decided while it is still cheap to change. Whether that means wireframes, a campaign plan, or a technical architecture depends on the project, but the principle is the same: agree the shape before building it.

What we do

  • Wireframes and visual design for websites, apps, and products.
  • Keyword, audience, and channel strategy for marketing work.
  • Technical architecture and data design for AI and development builds.
  • Measurement plan: what counts as success, and how it will be tracked.

What we need from you

  • Feedback on designs and plans, ideally in one consolidated round.
  • Brand assets and any content you already have.

You end up with: Approved designs or a documented plan, plus a build schedule with dated milestones you can hold us to.

03

Build & Launch

Varies with scope

We work in short sprints and show you the real thing every week. Not a progress percentage or a slide, but the actual site, campaign, or system as it stands that week.

What we do

  • Development, campaign build, or AI implementation in weekly sprints.
  • A working demo every week, on a staging link you can click through.
  • Testing across real devices and browsers, not just a desktop preview.
  • Tracking verified before launch, so day one data is trustworthy.

What we need from you

  • Roughly 30 minutes a week to review the demo and unblock decisions.
  • Final content sign-off ahead of launch.

You end up with: A launched project, plus the accounts, code, and credentials handed over in your name.

04

Scale

Ongoing, if you want it

Launch is the start of the useful data, not the end of the project. Marketing compounds with optimisation, and software needs maintenance. This stage is optional and never locked in.

What we do

  • Monthly optimisation based on what the data actually shows.
  • Reporting in plain English: what changed, what it earned, what is next.
  • Maintenance, updates, and security for sites, apps, and AI systems.
  • Testing new angles, pages, and channels as the data suggests them.

What we need from you

  • A monthly review call, and a decision on anything needing your sign-off.

You end up with: Compounding results and a monthly report you can read in five minutes without a glossary.

How we operate

The same six commitments on every project

Senior people do the work

The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. No account-manager layer relaying messages.

Weekly demos, not status reports

You see the actual work every week. Problems surface early, when they are still cheap to fix.

Fixed price, agreed first

Scope and price are written down before work starts. Anything outside it is quoted and approved separately.

You own everything

Code, accounts, ad data, and designs are yours from day one and stay yours if we stop working together.

Measured on outcomes

We report on leads, revenue, and shipped features rather than hours logged or impressions served.

Honest about fit

If the budget does not match the goal, or the project is the wrong move, we say so before taking the work.

Good to know

Questions about working together

Less than most agencies ask for. Expect a 30-minute call at the start, roughly half an hour a week to review demos and unblock decisions, and a sign-off round at the end of the design stage. Beyond that we work independently and come to you when a decision genuinely needs you.

That is precisely why design happens before development. Revisions at the design stage cost a conversation; the same change after building costs real money. Revision rounds are written into the scope, and we would rather go around twice at that stage than build something you are lukewarm about.

Regularly. We work alongside in-house marketers, developers, and designers, and can take a defined slice of the work rather than the whole thing. We agree who owns what at the start so nobody duplicates effort or waits on the wrong person.

You will know before the deadline, not after it. Weekly demos mean slippage is visible while there is still time to react. If a delay is on our side, we absorb it within the agreed price. If it comes from waiting on content or approvals, we will flag it early rather than let it accumulate silently.

A weekly demo call plus a shared channel for anything between calls, usually email or WhatsApp depending on what you prefer. We work across time zones with clients worldwide, so we agree a call slot that is reasonable for both sides rather than assuming ours.

Yes. Each stage produces something you own and can use elsewhere: research, designs, a plan, or a launched build. There is no lock-in contract, and the ongoing Scale stage is opt-in rather than assumed. If you want to take the designs to another developer, they are yours.
